Yes, you must lag a press & release within 1 sec. However for a convenience the option has been added to the latest build:

I am having trouble getting the timer to start/stop on closing of the contact, not on closing then releasing. Also sometimes the timer auto resets if the start/stop contact is held closed? any ideas. Thanks
