Hi folks,
I thought that some of you might be interested in seeing how I have used XNote Stopwatch software, and External Control, to implement elapsed time testing on my Pipe Dream Project prototype. This prototype is a magnetic motor (no electricity used) and test stand of my design that I have been working on for several months, and I have been posting regular updates on
YouTube to show my progress. Here is a view of the prototype:

I am currently in a testing phase which requires a large number of elapsed time tests to determine the efficiency of various magnet layouts on the test wheel. To determine if a change in layout is actually beneficial or detrimental, the tests must be automatically controlled in order to remove any chances of human error, and so automatic external triggering of the timers is essential. I chose XNote Stopwatch for my needs, because it is a wonderful program and has every feature that I need. I have produced 5 new videos demonstrating the techniques and apparatus that I will be employing for my tests, and invite you to view them. Anyone who is new to XNote Stopwatch, or who needs ideas or assistance in setting up their own externally controlled timing project, should find these videos quite helpful, as I go through all of the procedures in a step-by-step manner.
