Hi all,

I have the external controls connected and working fine to start and stop the stop watch, im having two problems do,

1, It doesent seem to load the start and stop times in the results window, only the snap times, all i need in the results window is the time for each person from start to finish

2, How can i get the results from the results window to excel, i have followed the online instruction and even searched this forum but every time i bring up the window for excel i have no spread sheets to chose from

Sorry for being a real amateur but if i could fix these two problems this product is exactly what i need

Kind Regards
Austen

Yes it's still not implemented.

Launch XNote Stopwatch as Administrator.

Check wires' electromagnetic interferences.

I'm having the same problem now even though:
-- I always open the spreadsheet first and
-- I'm running the app as an administrator.

Any recommendations for troubleshooting this issue? The whole reason I purchased this app was to use the Excel integration feature, so resolving this is very important to me.

Also, each time I launch the app do I need to give the command "run as administrator" (that's what I've been doing so far), or will the command to "run as admin" hold as the default setting for all future launches of the application?

With my thanks in advance,
Metta

What's your OS and Office version?

You have to give the command.

OS = Windows 7 Home Premium
Office Version: I actually have both Windows 2000 and Windows 2010 -- and I just now tested both of them:

-- With Windows 2000, the spreadsheets actually DO show in the window, but the Excel integration window itself flickers every few seconds and does not appear to be stable.

-- With Windows 2010, none of my spreadsheets show in the window, and when I launched the application, I received the following error message:

"Unable to attach to workbook 'my file name.xls' with worksheet 'Sheet1'. XNote Stopwatch is not linked with MS Excel now."

In light of this, what do you recommend?

It has been fixed and will be available in the next release.

Use Office 2000. I can't catch a bug with Office 2010 so far.
