Minimize to Tray not working for Stopwatch

I am using Windows 8.1 with Classic Shell Setup for the desktop ability. I cannot get the option for "Minimize to Tray" to do anything.
The timer stays visible on the desktop and no tray image is showing.
Is this just a glitch with Win 8.1 or am I misunderstanding how it works?

Thanks in advance.

Did you minimize the timer?

No I didn't but I see how it works now.
I was thinking (hoping) it would just minimize to the tray with the stopwatch showing the timer as it counted down in there, rather than just the xnote icon.
It would be a cool feature though.

Thanks for the heads up.

Unfortunately the tray allows to show icons only. But there is no room to display the time in an icon.
