No
Its ok as it is counting down to zero
What I suggest is for the countdown to start not when I press start but at a specified time

Let me explain
At the timer set up window we have timer starts from selection boxes h m s ds
Lets have a second line with selection boxes to define when the count down begins

Resulting to a countdown syncronized with computer clock
Get the picture

If picture uploaded then we see a red clock and a green countdown
manually started failing 9 out of ten to syncronize
if there is an auto start then they change reading in unison

Pretty nice
pretty nice

Well done thank you
If only we could have the whole lot together
ie present build plus multiple colors
then we have a success
thank you very much

hello again

well I have spent quite some tine testing latest build
results are dissapointing
having two windows running the first as clock and the second as countdown set to start at a whole minute
found that digits do not change in unison

tried time format all three selections round down / whole unit / up
in combination with decimals or without decimals and found
that 9 out of 10 it they did not syncronize and had digits changing seperately and not together

dare say I could manage better starting the count down manually but that will not do the job
need to have the count down start automatically and changing in unison with the clock

Thanks for your trouble

now regarding latest build
yes it is syncronized but in a funny way

it works fine if you have ticked minutes in the time format but when I select
time format --> seconds and untick hours minutes and decimals
so to have only seconds in the count down it does act funny

I have made a video http://fast4ward.gr/gart/MOV02443.MPG
it is large video 7.5 M but it shows the problem much better if I tried to expain it

count down is set to 45 sec and repeat
if you could have a look please.....

Hi
its me again
My wife pointed out that it split time to be counted down in segments of 23 seconds
and reads how many parts and how many seconds to zero
Does it have to do with custom time????

Yes you have fix it.

Now if we could take it from the top
The initial and official release at the clock function has

Set Custom Time
Time Format

currently disabled

and there is also that beautiful Experimental build with multiple colors
http://www.xnotestopwatch.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=900

Can we have them all together in one ??????
